Showtime Championship Wrestling is the brainchild of Nathan Gust and Sara Pettis. They, along with close friends and family, put together the business plan for SCW at the Gust Compound in Ozone Park, New York. As they were searching for investors, a wealthy oil tycoon turned movie mogul by the name of Tex Zillionaire caught wind of their plans and literally started throwing money around.
Tex Zillionaire became majority owner of SCW and live events were held at Zillion Dollar Theater in Los Angeles, California. The first three episodes of SCW Unlimited aired on Amazon Prime Video through a lucrative deal set up by Mr. Zillionaire. Then, suddenly, the show went off the air. It was not explained for several months what happened, as the entire SCW crew continued to record events that were supposed to air at a later time.
Then, just before the COVID-19 pandemic, Tex Zillionaire cashed out and vanished, along with his grandson, SCW General Manager Rich Zillionaire. Upon their departure, the rest of the SCW staff discovered that Tex and Rich were laundering money through SCW and the streaming deal with Amazon Prime Video was all a sham. They were only contracted to air three episodes as a trial run, and the remaining seven sat on the shelf.
Through continuous legal battles to obtain full rights to the company, Gust and Pettis finally obtained sole ownership of Showtime Championship Wrestling. Episodes 4 - 10 were all recorded but all footage disappeared along with the Zillionaires. Basic results have been posted to show what happened during the lost episodes.
